Live Scan Fingerprinting
A "Live scan" is an inkless, electronic means of capturing fingerprints to be transmitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ) or Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to run a criminal backgroung check.
All live scan services, with the exception of Personal Reports (Record Review), require the customer to provide the live scan form. This form is provided by the agency requesting that the live scan be preformed since each agency has a unique ORI and mail code necessary for the proper transmission and reporting of background information. If a live scan form was not provided to you, contact the agency requesting the live scan.
The total cost for live scan fingerprints varies, depending on Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI processing fees. Applicants are required to pay these fees in advance as well as a $20 rolling fee to have your prints captured and submitted by our office.
It is the applicant's responsibility to bring the appropriate form and to have all information completed properly. There are no refunds given for Live Scans performed. .
All fingerprint services by appointment only.
