Mesa College PatrolUniformed patrol officers, college service officers and sergeants are responsible for responding to emergency and routine calls for police service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The SDCC Police also make the streets on and around our campuses as safe as possible for people traveling by foot, bicycle, or motor vehicle. The California Vehicle Code and San Diego Municipal Codes are strictly enforced on and off campus. SDCC police officers have the authority to issue traffic citations on and off our campuses. Violators are cited into San Diego Superior Court Traffic Division.

When minor traffic collisions occur the SDCC Police will evaluate the incident and conduct an investigation if required. Serious injury accidents are investigated by the SDPD Traffic Division.

Non-sworn college service officers (CSO's) are responsible for enforcing parking regulations of the college district and the sections of the San Diego Municipal Code applicable to on-street parking in the vicinity of the campuses. CSO's issue parking citations, report traffic problems and hazards, conduct traffic control when needed and provide assistance and information to the public.
