Tutoring Services
Tutoring and academic support services are offered at San Diego City, Mesa and Miramar Colleges to help students succeed in their classes. Services are offered free of charge to currently enrolled students. You will need to show proof of student status to access the services.
Tutoring is provided by trained peer tutors, faculty and volunteers. Tutoring is mostly available on a walk-in basis. Typical services include:
- One-on-one tutoring in a variety of subjects *
- Study Groups
- Workshops
- Computer Labs
- Online Tutoring
- Independent Study
- Skill development in writing, reading comprehension, ELAC (formerly ESOL), math and study techniques
* There is no guarantee that tutoring will be available for every subject.
