An example of this would be when you log into a banking app or Microsoft 365 from a NEW computer and they request verification; usually the application will send you a code via text, or you will need to answer “Yes” in the Microsoft Authenticator App on your registered mobile phone.
You may request a SafeID Token. This is a portable device that generates a six-digit MFA code on the device each time you log into Microsoft 365. The device is free of charge, and can be requested here. If you have a SafeID Token, click here for instructions.
