Submitting Transcripts
Not all students are required to submit official transcripts. To determine if you need to submit official transcripts, speak with one of the following:
- A counselor
- Special admissions program coordinator
- A support services department

The San Diego Community College District is partnered with Parchment and National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to accept official records directly from these providers.
For schools that are not using Parchment or NSC, they can email official electronic transcripts directly to [email protected]
NOTE: Transcripts sent as PDF attachments by students are not considered official and will not be accepted or saved.
For printed official transcripts, students can submit them via mail to the following address:

NOTE: Printed transcripts are considered official if:
- They are sealed in the original envelope
- The issuance date is within one year
NOTE:
- Once transcripts have been received, the transcripts become property of the college and will not be returned.
- Guam and Puerto Rico are US territories and transcripts from institutions in these territories are not considered "foreign."
Confirmation Transcripts Have Been Received:
- Transcripts are marked as received within 10 business days of arrival at the District Office.
- If it has been more than 10 business days, students can check the status by submitting an inquiry at the:
Transcript Evaluation
To determine if you need a transcript evaluation, meet with a Counselor before submitting a request.
If a transcript evaluation is required, you may submit a request online by completing the Request for Transcript Evaluation Form
NOTE: Current processing time for transcript evaluations is a minimum of 90 business days.
Transferability of Credits:
Credits from other regionally accredited institutions will only be accepted for transfer credit after evaluation by the District Evaluations office.
