What is NetTutor?
NetTutor is a free, online tutoring service that provides one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions with a professional tutor; as well as a Question Center, which allows students to privately post a question and receive a personalized answer within 24-hours in a variety of subjects. NetTutor does not require you to schedule an appointment, you can just "drop in" online for a live, one-on-one tutoring session. Tutoring for many subjects is available 24/7. Tutoring in Spanish is available for some subjects.
Who Can use it?
Only students at Mesa and Miramar college can use NetTutor. If your instructor has NetTutor enabled in their Canvas courses, you will be able to locate it in the course navigation menu.
- Access Canvas: Log in to your Canvas account and navigate to the course where you want to use NetTutor
- Find NetTutor in the Course Navigation:
- Open the NetTutor Center:
- Select the subject that you would like tutoring for:
- Join the Tutoring drop-in hours or ask a question:
