Prior Week’s Key Accomplishments:
City College:
- Construction for the Arts and Humanities (AH) roof repairs are complete, and the project is now in the closeout phase.
- “A” Building Expansion food service and bookstore program team held their review meeting.
- The Outdoor Athletics (OA) Expansion team held its programming meeting.
- The Affordable Student Housing project contractor mobilized on Nov. 20, and site work began Dec. 1.
Mesa College:
- Roof repairs for the Child Development Center (CDC) are now complete, and the project is currently in the closeout phase.
- The “G” Building coil condenser replacement is now complete, and the project is currently in the closeout phase.
- Performing Arts Center (PAC) / Administration & Parking Structure – Completed programming workshops with stakeholders to further develop program and criteria, including Disability Support Programs and Services, landscape and grounds, and program faculty. Student engagement workshops were rescheduled due to weather conflicts and will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 2:30–3:30 p.m. Met with Design-Build Entity (DBE) to review and reconcile the current estimate summary. Began utility location and mark-out process within project boundaries.
- Athletics Complex – Resumed programming workshops with campus stakeholders to continue the process of developing scope and identifying potential program and space efficiencies.
- Design Center Improvements – Participated in biweekly owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings and an initial schematic design site walk with architects and engineers.
Miramar College:
- Montgomery Field Aviation Instructional Center – Received the draft program document and cost estimate for the recommended program design.
- Performing Arts Center (PAC) and English/Gallery Project – Engaged in a concept program meeting with stakeholders, focusing on spatial relationships.
- Early Education Center – Engaged in a design meeting with Facilities to discuss potential placement of an additional classroom structure at stakeholders’ request.
College of Continuing Education:
- ECC Theatre Renovation held weekly OAC meeting.
- ECC Ceramics / Community Room held weekly OAC meeting.

Coming Week Look-Ahead:
City College:
- “A” Building Expansion DBE to meet with City College leadership for a project check-in, and DBE to also provide updates at an Association of Student Government (ASG) outreach event.

- Saville Theatre Replacement DBE and PMO weekly huddle.

Mesa College:
- Upcoming project under review for the Baseball Field Fencing & Netting Upgrade. The project aims to upgrade the college baseball field’s fencing and netting to enhance safety and align with district standards. A designer will be assigned. DSA will not be required if the fence remains in its current location, is under 35’ in height, and does not include windscreens, slats, or banners.
- Performing Arts Center (PAC) / Administration & Parking Structure – Begin programming workshops with Dance Program in anticipation of adding it to the Performing Arts Center project. Hold a Program Management Information System (Kahua Software) training session on Dec. 2 with the DBE. Continue reviewing campus needs for a budget augmentation request with the campus and district, with support from the DBE.

- Performing Arts Center & English/Gallery Project – Collaborating with the DBE to develop the program document and cost estimate for the recommended design.
- Early Education Center – Collaborating with the DBE to finalize the program document and cost estimate for the recommended program design. Coordinating schematic design meetings with stakeholders and meeting with the district to receive direction on including an additional classroom structure. Guidance on the classroom structure is needed by Dec. 4 to stay on schedule.
College of Continuing Education:

- ECC Theatre Renovation furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) meeting scheduled with the CCE leadership team.
