Upcoming Needed Campus Action Items (Time Sensitive):
- Confirmation is needed from CE President King on swing space preference for the Welding Renovation project by Dec. 19 to maintain schedule and minimize potential instructional impacts.
- A decision from Mesa College is needed on the gym floor replacement project, which may either be removed from the Capital Renovation Renewal list or reduced to a repair-only scope. A final decision will be made within two weeks. Contract award is on hold pending this decision. Deadline for contract procurement to support summer 2026 construction is Jan. 16, 2026. (Mesa College)
- Early Education Center – The PMO team is arranging schematic design meetings with stakeholders. The district needs to receive direction from campus leadership on the inclusion of the additional classroom structure in the design. The lack of direction to-date has pushed the anticipated schematic design phase to start on Dec. 23 (originally scheduled to start on Nov. 25). The project will continue to be delayed with each passing day that direction is not provided.
